Background checks for all teachers are required prior to employment. Teachers must complete the required training with the VA Department of Education, as well as receive in house training in Blue Ridge Outdoor School's specific policies and procedures. All teachers must be First Aid/CPR certified - this will also be offered through Blue Ridge Outdoor School.
